Governance and accountability

This covers how the Pensions Regulator is run as an organisation and includes information about the board, our annual report and accounts, complaints, fraud, staff whistleblowing and staff code of conduct.

Management and administration

This includes our employment policies as well as information on procurement.

Some documents are for sole use by the Pensions Regulator and contain information that is exempt from disclosure under part 2 of the code. This includes employment, payroll and staff performance records as these relate to individual members of staff and are covered by the Data Protection Act.

Some information held about procurement and other financial and accounting records are exempt to protect commercial interests and to ensure that the regulator's internal financial controls are not compromised.

Opra Archive

In April 2005 Opra (Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority) was replaced by the Pensions Regulator.  Most Opra publications have now been replaced but a few are still available, such as Annual Reports.

This lists recent Freedom of Information disclosures that are of general public interest. It lists the requests made, and the information sent by us, but does not include identifying details about who made the request.

Access to information

Most information is on our website and some items are available on request.  Hard copies and alternative formats are available, although a charge may be made for this.
